Guruv Yoga’s 200 Hour Program in Hatha Yoga will qualify and fulfill requirements for the candidate to register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 Level. Guruv Yoga’s 200 Comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training Program will cover the practical, theoretical, historical, and spiritual aspects of the science of Hatha Yoga. The program requires considerable energy, time, dedication, and commitment. The student will leave with a thorough education and how to teach Hatha Yoga, the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, Hot Yoga and Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga. The candidate must have a dedicated personal practice, heightened awareness, and an abundance of inspiration and passion, that will fully prepare them to share the gift of yoga. Class size is limited
Requirements:
200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING / 8 MONTH OPTION:
STARTS JANUARY 9th 2016 and will meet one weekend a month for 8 months 9:00am-6:00pm. Tentative dates for 2016 are as follows:
January 9th and 10th, February 6th and 7th, March 19th and 20th, April 23rd and 24th, May 21st and 22nd, June 11th and 12th, July 9th and 10th, August 13th and 14th. (Graduation Day Sunday August 14th, 2016
Tuition for 8 MONTH OPTION:
 200hr Teacher Training Program & all monthly YIN SPECIALTY CLASSES.
PAID IN FULL $2,999 (not including deposit)

Jose "Yoga Fool" will walk you through a give and receive session that aims at the energetic release of key areas of discomfort. This workshop will incorporate a strong emphasis on breath work and intention so you can move the subtle bodies as well. You will walk away with helpful pointers on both character and quality of touch. No yoga or massage experience required. These techniques are meant for practice on a futon mattress or Thai Yoga mat. You can easily supplement this by bringing an excess of blankets, bolsters, pillows, or props.

Using introductory Acro skills we will begin to show you how to apply Thai Yogic assist techniques in different basic Acro Yoga poses. This workshop will follow a poses by pose sequence with multiple options for techniques used to emphasize the release of specific meridians of fascia tissue in the body. As a base this will work to stretch your hamstrings and help to ground/stabilize you. Learn detailed techniques to use as you hold the basic poses in the "L-Base" series for minutes at a time.
