Guruv Yoga’s 200hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification program will qualify and fulfill requirements for the candidate to register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 Level. The program is divided into 10 Weekend Modules meeting January through October 2017

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

Guruv Yoga’s 200 hour Comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training Program will cover the practical, theoretical, historical, and spiritual aspects of the science of Yoga. The program requires considerable energy, time, dedication, and commitment. The student will leave with a thorough education on how to safely and effectively teach Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, Gentle Yoga and Meditation. The candidate must have a dedicated personal practice, heightened awareness, and an abundance of inspiration and passion, that will fully prepare them to share the gift of yoga. Class size is limited.

Students will be required to observe 10 classes at home studio or Guruv Yoga Studios and assist no less than 3 classes with teachers at Guruv Yoga. There will be pre-course reading, writing assignments, plus written and oral exams during the training program. A final written exam will be given and trainee will lead a full 60 minute yoga class at the end of the program.

Class size is LIMITED. Your application must be submitted and approved before submitting your non-refundable $200 deposit.

Tuition covers your entire course of study. This includes: lectures, classroom instruction & Yoga Teacher Training Manual. Additional texts are required and must be either borrowed or preferably purchased. Requirements & Dates:

200HR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING / 10 MONTH OPTION:

STARTS JANUARY 7th, 2017 and will meet one weekend a month for 10 months.
Tentative dates for 2017 are as follows:
January 7th & 8th, February 4th & 5th, March 4th & 5th, April 29th & 30th, May 6th & 7th, June 3rd & 4th, July 28th & 29th, August 12th & 13th, September 23rd & 24th, October 21 & 22nd (graduation module)

*Requirements in addition to Scheduled Sessions:
