Guruv Yoga’s 200hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification program will qualify and fulfill requirements for the candidate to register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 Level


The program is divided into
10 Weekend Modules meeting January through October of each year and an ongoing program

*It is recommended to attend all 10 modules within one year, but because of the module format, training can be spread out and completed over the course of 2 years, as long as each module is completed and Yoga Alliance requirements met.

200 Hour GURUV YOGA Teacher Training 10 Month Course


Guruv Yoga’s 200 hour Comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training Program will cover the practical, theoretical, historical, and spiritual aspects of the science of Yoga. The program requires considerable energy, time, dedication, and commitment. The student will leave with a thorough education on how to safely and effectively teach Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, Gentle Yoga and Meditation. The candidate must have a dedicated personal practice, heightened awareness, and an abundance of inspiration and passion, that will fully prepare them to share the gift of yoga.
Class size is limited.

Students will be required to observe 10 classes at home studio or Guruv Yoga Studios and assist no less than 3 classes with teachers at Guruv Yoga. There will be pre-course reading, writing assignments, plus written and oral exams during the training program. A final written exam will be given and trainee will lead a full 60 minute yoga class at the end of the program.

Additional texts are required and must be either borrowed or preferably purchased. *Requirements in addition to Scheduled Sessions:
  • Must maintain personal practice and complete all reading, writing, and research assignments.
  • PERSONAL PRACTICE- Students will be required to keep a practice log and/or journal.
